Information and Referral ServicesInformation and referral services are available to assist the person with disabilities and their family in locating and accessing resources which wll be helpful to them in developing their abilities for living independently in the community.
Direct Training ServicesDirect training services are available at the Center and may include:
Obtaining suitable housing
Obtaining financial assistance
Obtaining accessible care
Obtaining attendant care
Involvement in social activities
Training in daily living skills
Counseling
Peer Group Counseling, Self-help Groups; issues which require more sensitive consideration are covered in individual and/or group counseling sessions which are less structured than training programs and are offered on an on-going basis. Counseling also involves the utilization of

self-help groups and other forms of peer counseling which will be offered space here at the Center for their meetings.
Advocacy
Monthly support group meetings for all people concerned about rights and issues of the persons with disabilities. At these meetings, we try to keep the community updated on news, legislation, and other information that concerns people with disabilities. We are also involved in advocating for the rights of individuals.
